I am Andelynn Pendragon.
Before you ask, yes this is my real and true name, and yes, it is my family name. It is a name I am immensely proud of and I do my best every day to honor it.
I am starting this blog with the intentions of giving my new mom self something fun and meaningful to do, and also make a full time income while staying home with my beloved son.
Ultimately I’m hoping this blog reads something like a journal documenting my time with my son and the lessons I learn along the way as I navigate how to raise him in the Goddess Traditions of the modern world. While also touching on my beliefs and life as a mother walking the Goddess path. Paganism is something I hold dear to my heart, and have found little resources for mothering in this way online. However my in person resources are plentiful.
Hopefully this blog can help others that may not have the community I am blessed with, that also want to raise their family in the Goddess traditions.
I have been Pagan since 2016. It was then that I found the Goddess Temple of Ashland here in my home town. It felt as though I was coming home. The high priestess, Lady Graellynn, welcomed me with open arms and over the years has taught me so much about this path, what it means to be in community, and my own inner strength, beauty, and power. I often circle back to her for advice and you may find me quoting her throughout my posts. She truly is a treasure of knowledge.
I met my Beloved, Merlin, in 2017. Though we met as, and remained friends until the end of 2019 when we found ourselves in love and crossed into a romantic relationship we knew would be our last. We handfasted on Beltane of 2021 for the first time and have continued to handfast every year since, solidifying our union.
We got pregnant in November of 2022 and had our beautiful son Arthur in the summer of 2023. Being his mother so far has already been a wild ride. One I can’t wait to share with you, post by post.
Let’s get started, shall we?
Benedicito,
Queen Andelynn Pendragon
